Easy Valentine’s Day Date Ideas
Valentine’s Day can be a challenging holiday for many couples. What if you’re not in a relationship? What if you and your partner are on different schedules? How do you show someone else that you care about them without the pressures of expensive gifts and romantic dinners? With a little creativity, it’s possible to find a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day together regardless of your relationship status or budget!
This year, Valentine’s Day falls on a Tuesday – so if you make plans the weekend before, that leaves a whole other night to figure out (if you celebrate)!
Make a homemade pizza together.
To make your own pizza, you’ll need to start with the dough. You can buy a ready-made crust at the store or make your own from scratch with this recipe.
Hit the grocery store for toppings! Bell peppers, pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella cheese… pineapple? Choosing your perfect pizza together is romantic, and kneading the dough can even be…dare we say…erotic!
Dough tip: Make sure to let it rise until it doubles in size before baking! Once you have your dough ready and your sauce simmering on the stovetop, spread some sauce over each individual serving of crust (just enough to cover), then add toppings such as olives or pineapple chunks. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes–you’ll know when it’s done when all of those delicious smells fill up your kitchen!
Make it spicy: wear lingerie while you bake, or purchase dessert online in advance!
Don’t want to bake your own pizza? Call around and ask local pizza shops if they offer heart-shaped pizzas this Tuesday! Many of them do…like Rocco’s in Brooklyn!
Take a walk around the city
If you live in an urban area and don’t have access to trails near you, there are still ways to enjoy nature without having to drive too far away. One great thing about living in a suburban setting is walking around the neighborhood and seeing different kinds of architecture, street art, and locals walking by. Look for a flower stand and buy your boo a flower that reminds you of them. (Roses shmoses!) Snap some photos of each other that you can eventually put into a Valentine’s Day photo album.
Feeling spicy? Rock a pair of vibrating panties on your walk!
Make a photo album of your favorite photos together
Making a photo album with your partner is easy to do, and a great way to feel the magic of old memories together. You can print digital photos – either individually, or in an album, from places like Walgreens or CVS. Spend the night going through your photos together and simply send them to Walgreens or CVS using their photo printing apps.
Tip: Walgreens usually always has great deals and photo coupons, so make sure to find one before submitting your order!
Have a game night
If you and your loved one are looking for a fun way to spend Valentine’s Day, try a game night! Get old school with it for a spin of nostalgia. Try Connect Four, Yahtzee, dominoes or Uno! Games are great because they allow you to interact with each other while spending time together.
Spice it up! Sexy adult games can also be a great way to bond with your significant other by engaging in a hot activity and adding physical affection into the mix.
Keep it simple
There’s no need to spend a lot of money on Valentine’s Day. You can make it special with something as simple as a homemade pizza or by spending time together, doing something you both enjoy. Remember that the most important thing is love. Just love.
